Two Homes Damaged in Overnight Fire
The fire spread from one home to the other as firefighters arrived

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Fire Department responded to a two-alarm fire on the city's west side around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
According to The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, a call came in reporting a fire at a home near N 50th Street and W Clarke Street. It would appear that the fire first burned the siding on the first home and then began to spread to the second home.
It took firefighters nearly two hours, but by about 6:30 a.m. the majority of the fire was out.

The home where the fire originated was vacant. The second home was occupied, but all occupants escaped safely.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
