Anti-trust Real Estate Practices in Shorewood, WI by Full Commission Real Estate Brokers ?

The Federal and State government are looking into possible anti-trust Real Estate Practices in Shorewood, WI by Full Commission Real Estate Brokers.

If true and proven, such practices hurt Shorewood Homeowners by limiting their options to sell their homes, and costing thousands of dollars more in commissions than in a free, competitive and open market.

Such practices also penalize Buyers, by artificially increasing the cost of Purchasing a Home in Shorewood.

Have you or anyone you know, experienced any of the following practices in a Real Estate Transaction in Shorewood, either as a Seller or Buyer? Worked with a Full Commission Realty Broker or Salesperson who:

* did not show you properties that met the criteria of what you were looking for, that were listed by a Discount Realty Broker or were for Sale by Owner?

* who Discouraged you from seeing a Property for Sale by the Owner (FSBO)?

* who would not negotiate their Commission Rate?

* who said they charged the same Commission as all the other Brokers?

* who discouraged you from Listing with a Discount Commission Broker by saying that other Brokers would not show your Property if it was listed with a Discounted Broker?


Or have you, or anyone you know: Communicated with a Full Commission Broker or Salesperson who would not discuss their Commission or Fees by phone, mail or e mail.

Worked or communicated with a Full Commission Broker that would not allow their Independent Sales Agents from offering or negotiating a Lower Sales Commission Rate or would penalize Independent Sales Agents who did so.

If a pattern is established of Full Price Brokers Boycotting Discount Broker Listings, and Listings by FSBO, or Steering their Customers or Clients from such Properties, with the intent of injuring and destroying competition in the Pricing of Commissions for Listing Properties in Shorewood, WI, that could be violations of State and Federal Anti Trust Laws and Regulations, and a violation of the Code of Ethics for Realtors.
