Atwater Park Will Have Lifeguards Starting June 26
Looking for somewhere to swim in Shorewood? Atwater Park will have lifeguards on duty starting June 26.

SHOREWOOD, WI— Atwater Park will have lifeguards on duty every day starting June 26 until August 15, the Village announced on Facebook.
As the weather is warming up and summer has arrived, more people are looking for ways to get outside and cool off, but not many are open in the Milwaukee area. The announcement can add Atwater Park to a list of lifeguard-staffed Shorewood swim spots as the beach will now have lifeguards every day starting June 26 until August 15.
Lifeguards will be present from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. every day and will ensure everyone at the beach is safe and following beach rules, the announcement from the Village said.

Atwater is one of only a few swimming spots in the area. The Community Fitness Center does not allow open swim, but new policies now allow people to do lap swimming without scheduling ahead of time.
