This week, a bench was placed there in honor of Tim Wick. The Wick family donated the bench to honor Tim's service and dedication to the Shorewood community. He passed away in 2019.

He also served two elected terms as Village Trustee from 1992 to 1998 chairing the Judiciary, Personnel and Licensing Committee, the Development and Long Range Planning Committee, the Streets and Buildings Committee, and the Police and Fire Commissions. Tim Wick was the business owner of Wick’s Beer and Liquor on 4496 N. Oakland Ave. from September 1983 to March 2012.
