Deadly One-Car Crash Claims Life Of Milwaukee Man
The 33-year-old died after driving into a tree in Shorewood early Tuesday morning.
SHOREWOOD, WI —A 33-year-old Milwaukee man died Tuesday morning from injuries suffered when he crashed his vehicle into a tree in Atwater Park, CBS58.com reported. Shorewood officers said the driver was not wearing a seat belt.
According to reports, Shorewood police were dispatched to the intersection of North Lake Drive and East Capitol Drive at around 3 a.m. after a caller reported hearing a vehicle accelerating and then crashing. Police said they found the vehicle crashed into a tree approximately 100 feet from the street.
Fox6now.com reported the driver was found unresponsive, not breathing and pulseless. Police, and later the North Shore Fire Department, attempted CPR and other lifesaving efforts. The driver later died from his injuries at St. Mary's Hospital.

Police said no other vehicles were believed to be involved in the crash. The Wisconsin State Patrol also responded to the scene and assisted in the investigation, according to Fox6.now.com.
