Funk Club Wagon Cruises Shorewood; Village Wants More Music
Shorewood officials are taking suggestions for more musical acts for this summer after the COVID-19 pandemic forced so many cancellations.

SHOREWOOD, WI — Shorewood officials are asking village residents if there are any more musical groups they'd like to hear after a successful run of the Funk Club Wagon last week through the village.
"Who caught a glimpse of the Funkclub Wagon last Friday? The Shorewood Business Improvement District was looking for something fun to do amidst a pandemic and the subsequent restrictions on gatherings," officials with the Shorewood Business Improvement District wrote.
"The cancellation of the Tour of America's Dairyland bike races, graduation ceremonies, and our Fourth of July celebrations had left us all in a "funk" so to speak. Not only did the Wagon drive through several streets playing music for three hours, but they live-streamed the entire performance which was shared on several Facebook pages," Shorewood officials wrote of the performance.
