Halloween Celebrations Discouraged Via Board Vote

The Shorewood Village Board is the first to vote, 7-0, to cancel official trick-or-treating hours.

This week the Shorewood Village Board voted 7-0 to refrain from setting official trick-or-treat hours this year.

The board is encouraging residents to follow the NSHD and CDC guidelines by finding alternative ways to celebrate the holiday this year.

In June 15, 2020, the Village Board scheduled community trick-or-treating on October 31 from 4
p.m. – 7 p.m.
