When Shorewood Little League was looking for a new logo, they decided to let high school students make the design.
The logo redesign contest was held last fall in Jeff Zimpel's Shorewood High School graphics class, giving the students an experience that mirrors a real world graphics assignment. After receiving many great candidates, the little league board narrowed the options down to four finalists, and little league families voted for their favorite among the final four.
The winning design, pictured above, was crafted by Shorewood High School freshman Francis Harper. The league is using the logo on its shirts, hoodies and bleacher seats.Â
