The Inaugural Milwaukee Women's Film Festival

The festival kicks off Friday at the Shops of Grand Avenue

MILWAUKEE-- The Inaugural Milwaukee Women's Film Festival begins Friday at the Underground Collaborative in the lower level of the Shops of Grand Avenue, 161 W. Wisconsin Ave.

According to The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel the festival is designed to showcase movies that celebrate women in film and will also feature a Q&A and an opening night party with music, pizza and a virtual reality immersion experience.

Admission to the opening-night party is $15. Admission to individual movies and shorts programs is $10; day passes are $30, with two- and three-day passes going for $60 and $70. Tickets are available at brownpapertickets.com/event/2586840 and at the door.
