Lake Bluff School Project To Create Shorewood Detours

Officials said the work will start Monday, and may impact travel around the area until July 3.

SHOREWOOD, WI — There will be a new traffic detour in Shorewood starting Monday after local officials announced that MJ Construction Inc will be installing underground utilities for Lake Bluff Elementary School.

Officials said the work will start Monday, and may impact travel around the area until July 3. East Lake Bluff Blvd. will be closed to traffic between N. Morris Blvd. and N. Bartlett Ave.

According to Shorewood officials, the area located at 1600 E. Lake Bluff Blvd. will be closed from 7:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. to install new sanitary and storm laterals to the school. People will not be able to access their driveway during these times.

Street parking will not be allowed between N. Newhall St. and N. Morris Blvd. on E. Lake Bluff Blvd. Barricades and signs for traffic control will be posted, as well as detour signs to help residents avoid the construction area.
