Lend A Hand: Volunteer for the Spring Yard Clean-up

The clean-up helps older adults and disabled adults in Shorewood with raking, tidying garden areas, re-connecting hoses, and general yard spruce-up — tasks some seniors find difficult. The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon.

Help build community and do a good deed. Shorewood Connects is seeking volunteers for the annual spring yard clean-up April 13.

The clean-up helps older adults and disabled adults in Shorewood with raking, tidying garden areas, re-connecting hoses, and general yard spruce-up — tasks some seniors find difficult. The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon.

Volunteers will be provided with bagels, donuts, coffee, yard bags and an explanation of assignments before beginning their work.
