Police said Dacquisto was shown photos of two bicycle thefts, one on Sept. 13 at Shorewood High School and a second that also happened at the high school on Nov. 21.

According to police, Dacquisto confirmed that it was he in the surveillance photograph from Sept. 13, and claimed that he was lent the bicycle from a friend, but couldn’t remember the name of the friend. Later on, the officer showed Dacquisto a surveillance photo of the Nov. 21 theft. After being shown the photograph, Dacquisto said that it was him in the photograph and that it might have been from November, police said.
