Milwaukee Police are Investigating Downtown Shooting
The shooting occurred early this morning.

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred around 2:55 a.m. on August 19. The victim, a 34-year-old man, was shot during an altercation in the 800 block of N. Old World Third St.
After the shooting the victim was able to drive himself to N. 4th St. and W. Kibourn Ave where he flagged down a passing police car. The victim was taken to a local hospital and is being treated for what appear to be non-life threatening injuries.
After the shooting the suspect fled the scene on foot and Milwaukee Police are still trying to locate him.
