Milwaukee Police are Investigating Fatal Hit and Run

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal hit and run that occurred Aug. 16 around 7 p.m.

A 28-year-old Milwaukee woman was struck by a vehicle at W. Fond du Lac Ave. and W. Oak St. as she attempted to run across the street. She later died from her injuries. Police found the striking vehicle several blocks away, but the driver had fled. MPD continues to investigate and seek the driver.
