Milwaukee Police Investigating Homicide Outside District 6 Police Station

The homicide occurred in the evening on August 18

MILWAUKEE -- The Milkwaukee Police Department is investigating a homocide that occurred at about 6:40 p.m. on August 18 in front of the District Six Police station, located in the 3000 block of S. 27th St.

The victim, a 42-year-old Milwaukee man, became involved in an argument with two men who were outside of the station in a vehicle. During the argument the shooter, a 65-year-old Milwaukee man, drew a handgun and shot the victim.

The Shooter and his 52-year-old male friend then walked into the station and turned themselves and the gun into officers.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died.
