More than $1,700 in Property Taken in Daytime Burglary

Police say a Shorewood home was burglarized, with entry gained through a rear window, and TVs, laptops and other electronics stolen.

More than $1,700 in property was stolen from a Shorewood home during a daytime burglary on Friday.   

Police say there were signs of forced entry to a locked rear window of the house in the 2200 block of East Beverly Road. The burglary occurred sometime between 8:10 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. 

An $800 TV, $500 laptop and $150 iPod were among a list of items taken, totaling $1,780.

Nobody was home at the time of the burglary and police have no suspects.
