New CDC Guidance But Masks Still Mandated In Shorewood For Now
The Shorewood Village Board will convene Monday to decide if the village mask mandate will continue.

SHOREWOOD, WI — Shorewood's mask mandate is still in effect regardless of new CDC guidance Thursday stating that most fully vaccinated individuals will no longer need to wear masks inside or outside, according to Assistant Village Manager Tyler Burkart.
Shorewood still has its mask mandate in effect so these new guidelines do not currently apply, Burkart said.
Fully vaccinated people are now safely able to resume all activities without masks or physical distancing unless business, state or local rules state otherwise, according to the CDC interim guidelines.
