New Mini Golf Tavern Sets Opening Date on East Side of Milwaukee

Owners of Splash Studio are bringing a unique recreational experience with make-your-own mini golf courses

MILWAUKEE -- Mini golfing and imbibing your favorite beverages are par for the course at the new Nine Below, Milwaukee's first "maker's golf tavern," opening Sept. 21 in the area below Beans & Barley, 1905 E. North Ave., which formerly housed Esoteria, Mantra, Decibel and other night clubs.

According to OnMilwaukee.com, the 7,000-square foot space features two nine-hold indoor miniature golf courses and a bar that recreates the feel of being outdoors at dusk. The "maker's golf tavern" concept allows patrons to create their own mini golf holes.

A ribbon cutting ceremony and soft open will occur the week before the official opening, with a grand opening Oct. 1. Make reservations and learn more on the Nine Below website.
