SHOREWOOD, WI – Individuals who qualify for a COVID-19 vaccine as 1A providers may have access to the vaccine at the North Shore Health Department.

Providers classified as 1A under Wisconsin's COVID-19 vaccination plan are healthcare providers who directly interact with patients or engage in healthcare services that place them into contact with patients who are able to transmit COVID-19.

The health department said it is connecting directly with organizations who have reached out to verify their 1A status and will contact them when vaccine appointments are available for qualified staff.
