Oak Creek Lions to Host Annual Labor Day Lions Fest

The festival will feature returning favorites as well as some new bands.

OAK CREEK -- The Oak Creek Lions will once again be hosting their annual Lions Fest this labor day weekend at 9327 S. Shephard Ave in Oak Creek. The festival will run Friday through Monday evening.

The festival will be featuring bands throughout the afternoons and evenings on two different stages.

The Lions will again be holding their "Big Money" raffle, with a 1st place price of $5000 and paying out to 20th place. The tickets go fast at a price of only $10 each or 3 ticks for $20. In addition there will also be paddle booths awarding beer, soda, meat and cheese.

A large array of food options will also be available from Friday morning until Monday night. On offer are burgers, turkey legs, chicken tenders and corn on the cob. For beverages Black Bear soda, Miller and Budweiser products and various wines are available.

Carnival rides open at 1 p.m. daily and a wristband can be purchased for $25 for unlimited rides from 1 p.m.-11 p.m.

On Labor Day upon presentation of a military ID veterans will receive a free meal from the Lions Club.
