PHOTOS: Summer Fun on New Atwater Beach Playground

Three pieces of playground equipment are open for business on Atwater Beach, attracting local children and beach-goers.

including a a double arch swing similar to a tire swing; an oval net structure for climbing; and a merry-go-round type structure, are open for business.

The equipment was co-funded by citizens group Friends of Atwater Beach (FAB) and the Shorewood Foundation.
