Shorewood police are investigating the death of a 57-year-old man in an apartment building at 4460 Oakland Avenue.
Shorewood police were originally called to the apartment building at 8 p.m. Tuesday for a welfare check of a missing person. The apartment building and sidewalk are taped off as police and the Medical Examiner's Office investigate the apartment.
Police say they will continue to investigate and process the scene until the cause of death is determined.
