Police Surround Brown Deer Home

BROWN DEER -- On Wednesday Brown Deer Police received a report that a man with a gun was holding his parents hostage and there were explosives present.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, at about 4 p.m. police were called to the home in the 6200 block of W. Silver Brook Ln. Brown Deer Police and tactical and bomb squad units from Milwaukee County surrounded the home.

Police ordered all occupants to exit the house as members of the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office bomb squad and SWAT teams cleared the home. No explosives or other threats were found and no arrests were made.

The incident remains under investigation.
