Political Season Continues In Shorewood
Shorewood residents are now able to circulate nomination papers to run for local elected office.
SHOREWOOD, WI— Shorewood residents are now able to circulate nomination papers to run for local elected office.
The ballot will consist of two Village Trustee seats, Village President, and one School Board member seat.
The deadline for filing nomination papers is Tuesday, January 5, 2021 by 5:00 p.m. If a primary is needed, the Spring primary will take place Tuesday, February 16, 2021. The main Spring election will be Tuesday, April 6, 2021.

In order to help potential candidates learn more about the candidacy filing process, the role of an elected official, and campaign finance requirements, the Village is coordinating a Local Official Candidacy Gathering on Thursday, December 17 at 5:30 p.m.
The gathering will take place via Zoom.
