SHOREWOOD, WI — Powercycle, a new instructor-led indoor cycling studio is coming to Shorewood this fall.
According to a Milwaukee Biz Times report, owners Kayla Vogds and Ty Gruber are opening the instructor-led indoor cycling studio at 4521 N. Oakland Ave., where Yo Mama's used to be.
Village of Shorewood officials said that Vogds' growing desire to open a cycling studio came to fruition last August in Wauwatosa and after overwhelming support and inspiration from members, knew a second studio in Shorewood would be a great fit.

If you've never tried indoor cycling before, Gruber teaches a Power101 class once a week. Riders learn how to safely set up and operate their bike, clip in and out of the pedals with Shimano SPD cleats and learn a few basic techniques on the bike.
"PowerCycle is an effective training option for both beginners and experienced athletes," Gruber said. "We're focused on providing an upbeat, entertaining atmosphere." Gruber also said that their 45-minute class is designed to get cyclists a great cardio workout and also strength training.
