School Closures In Shorewood: Wednesday Jan. 30

SHOREWOOD, WI -- Bitterly-cold weather this week has forced the closure of numerous schools and agencies in Shorewood this week, including the Shorewood School District.

Here is a message posted Tuesday from Shorewood School District officials:

Due to the extremely cold incoming weather, the Shorewood School District and the Shorewood Recreation and Community Services Department will be closing at 6 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019. Practices and after-school activities will take place until 6 p.m. tonight.

All schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019. An update on school for Thursday will be provided during the day on Wednesday.
