School Officials to Announce 2 Finalists in Superintendent Search on Friday

The district will hold four community meetings on two days next week allowing residents and district staff to get to know the candidates.

School officials say they will release the names of two finalists on Friday in the search for the Shorewood School District's new superintendent.

The district has lined up community meetings on May 15 and May 17 where teachers and citizens can meet the candidates.

On each day, four meetings will be held with residents and staff members welcome to attend, in most instances.

The meeting schedule for both days is as follows:

  • 8:45 to 9:30 a.m. at , 3830 N. Morris Blvd., Room 122
  • 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. at the southwest entrance of 's Early Education Center, 2100 E. Capitol Drive
  • 2 to 2:45 p.m. at , 1600 E. Lake Bluff blvd., Room 200
  • 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. at Shorewood Intermediate School Commons, 3830 N. Morris Blvd. (a session for teachers and educational professionals in the community)
