SHOREWOOD, WI – July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Shorewood, so you can start planning now.

Weather

Independence Day

A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 81. Light southeast wind becoming south 5 to 10 miles per hour in the morning.

Thursday Night

A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. South wind around 5 miles per hour, becoming calm in the evening.

Annual Parade

Where: The Shorewood 2019 Fourth of July Parade begins at E. Kensington and N. Oakland Ave and heads south on Oakland Ave. toward River Park.

When: Thursday, July 4, 2019: 2 p.m. Parade setup begins at E. Kensington and N. Oakland Ave. 3 p.m. Parade begins, heading south on Oakland toward River Park

Independence Day Festivities

5 p.m. Lake Drive at Atwater Park will be blocked to through traffic.

5:30 p.m. Shorewood Concert Band performance at Atwater Park.

7 p.m. Public remarks from Village President Allison Rozek, Atwater Park.

7:30 p.m. Musical entertainment from the Noyz Boys and Girlz, Atwater Park.

Fireworks Display

Where: Atwater Park, 4000 N. Lake Drive, in Shorewood.

When: 9 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Fireworks at Atwater Park.
