Shorewood Cancels 2020 Summer Concert Series
Invitations have been extended to this year's performers to take the stage in 2021.

SHOREWOOD, WI –Shorewood residents looking for some summer outdoor music were dealt a setback Tuesday after village officials canceled the balance of the 2020 summer concert series over concerns about the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in Wisconsin.
"With the uncertainty of being able to safely gather large groups together over next several months, the Shorewood Recreation Department has made the difficult decision to cancel its entire Summer Sounds Concert Series for Summer 2020," officials said Tuesday afternoon. "The annual concert series was scheduled to be held weekly on Wednesday evenings beginning July 8 at Hubbard Park."
“We would like to thank our sponsors for their support,” says Recreation Department Director Jody Brooks in a statement, citing several sponsors who reportedly will return to support the festival in 2021.
