Shorewood Farmers Market Starts This Sunday

The first Shorewood Farmers Market of the season is Sunday. Here are some vendors to expect and how to get involved.

SHOREWOOD, WI—The Shorewood Farmers Market is kicking off its first market of the season Sunday at Estabrook Park.

Here's what's new and how to get involved at the market this summer.

Vendors will vary from week to week but marketgoers can expect a steady stream of herbal products, fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, vegan and gluten-free baked goods, pasta, donuts, pies and more, according to the 2021 vendor list.


Here are some vendors to check out this weekend at the market that have something other than the usual fruits and vegetables:

Brute Pizza is a Milwaukee-based pizza restaurant offering sourdough pizzas topped with San Marzano tomato sauce and locally sourced toppings, according to the company website.

Donut Monster is a donut spot from Whitefish Bay offering flavors such as PB&J, maple bacon, chocolate passionfruit, salted chocolate, cheesecake and more, the company website states.

Pete's Pops is a Milwaukee-based business that sells popsicles with flavors such as salted watermelon and lemonade, avocado, pear goat cheese, cantaloupe lemongrass, sweet matcha and more, according to the Pete's Pops website.

Vennture Brew Co is a Milwaukee-based brewery and coffee company offering barrel-aged cold brew, coffee beans and homemade sodas, according to the vendor list.

Estabrook Parkway is an active street this year, meaning thru traffic is not allowed. The market recommends that patrons enter from the south side of Estabrook off Capitol Drive.

Dogs are not allowed at the Shorewood Farmers Market, according to the market's website. The market still recommends patrons wear masks and social distance.

The market will be open every Sunday until October except for July 4. The market will be held at Estabrook Park located at 4100 Estabrook Parkway in Milwaukee.

Vendor applications are now closed for the market.
