Shorewood July 4 Celebrations Return With Some Differences
Shorewood's firework show is back, but moving to Estabrook Park this year. The parade is also back in full force and open for applications.
SHOREWOOD, WI — The fireworks show and parade will return to Shorewood for its Fourth of July celebration this year— things have moved around a bit, though, according to a Facebook post from the Village.
In previous years, Shorewood held its fireworks show at Atwater Park. The beachfront park could get too easily crowded this year, so the show is moving to Estabrook Park. The move ensures people remain safe, regardless of how many are vaccinated in the crowd, the post said.

The fireworks display will be set up at the north end of Eastbrook Park's soccer field. Besides the thunder of pyrotechnics, celebrations at the fireworks display might feel a bit muted this year: No program or music is being planned for the fireworks, according to the post.
The parade will also be back in full force this year. Starting at 3 p.m., it will run down Oakland Avenue.
