Shorewood To Limit Atwater Beach To 300; Lifeguards Return
Village officials said lifeguards will be at Atwater Beach starting Saturday

SHOREWOOD, WI — As summer nears and COVID-19 restrictions relax in Milwaukee's North Shore communities, lifeguards will return to Atwater Beach.
Village officials said lifeguards will be at Atwater Beach starting Saturday. They will be present at the beach every day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Their last day at the beach will be Sunday, Aug. 16.
Because of ongoing concerns related to COVID-19, there will be a maximum capacity of 300 people, village officials said. This changed from 150 to 300 due to the North Shore entering Phase C guidelines.
