Shorewood Police Investigating Assault Case

Police said the suspect was between 20-40 years old, and was wearing a black jacket and black running shoes.

SHOREWOOD, WI — The Shorewood Police Department is investigating an attempted assault case that was reported at just after 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23. on the 3500 block of N. Maryland Ave.

Police say that a woman was walking south on the west side of Maryland, when she was suddenly grabbed around the waist from behind by an unknown man. The woman screamed and the man released her, police said.

Police said the suspect was between 20-40 years old, and was wearing a black jacket and black running shoes.
