Shorewood Re-Schedules Winterfest
Bad weather over the first weekend in December was no fun for a lot of people, causing Shorewood's Winterfest to postpone for a week.
SHOREWOOD, WI -- Bad weather over the first weekend in December was no fun for a lot of people, forcing Shorewood to postpone its annual Winterfest until next weekend.
"Friends, due to the weather, Shorewood's WinterFest and Tree Lighting is postponed to Sunday December 9. Same time and same place. Hope to see everyone there," Shorewood officials wrote.
Winterfest will be held at Wood Square on Oakland Ave., at Wood Place. There will be music, hot cider, hot chocolate, popcorn, doughnuts, selfies with Santa, and children's activities. The tree lighting will take place at 7:00 p.m.

WinterFest will be held at Wood Square, Saturday Dec 9, from 5:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m.
