Shorewood School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

SHOREWOOD, WI — The first day of school in Shorewood is September 4 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Shorewood School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

(Note: Elementary and Intermediate Schools have an early release every Wednesday.)

• 9/14: No Elementary School

October

• 10/16: No Elementary School (Parent Teacher Conferences)
• 10/18-10/19: No Elementary School (Parent Teacher Conferences)
• 10/26: No School (All Grades)

November

• 11/9: Early Dismissal (Elementary and Intermediate School Only)
• 11/21-11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)
• 11/30: No Elementary School (Records Day)

December

• 12/24- 12/31: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1 - 1/2: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/18 - 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day Observed)

February

• 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day)
• 2/26: No Elementary School (Parent Teacher Conferences)
• 2/28: No Elementary School (Parent Teacher Conferences)

March

• 3/1: No School (All Grades)
• 3/7-3/8: No Elementary School (Parent Teacher Conferences)
• 3/22: Early Dismissal (Elementary and Intermediate School Only)
• 3/25-3/29: No School (Spring Break)
