Shorewood Snapshot: School Officials Could Vote on Employee Handbook; Preps Sports

School Board — , school officials could approve an employee handbook at a meeting set for Tuesday night. A teacher's appendix is also scheduled to be voted on.

Additionally, the School Board is scheduled to take a vote on the hire of two new teachers.

Assorted food and beverages will be sold; no carry-in alcohol is allowed.

Village meetings — A special Village Board meeting is slated for Monday night at 6, to discuss long-range financial planning.

The village's Plan Commission will meet Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

And, the Public Art Committee meets Thursday night at 7.

Preps sports — The Shorewood/Messmer combined football team will host University School for a match Friday night at 7.

Shorewood High School's boys soccer team will host a match against South Milwaukee at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, and travel to Greendale High School for a 6:30 p.m. match on Wednesday.

The girls tennis team will host a match against Whitnall on Thursday at 4 p.m.

The girls volleyball team will hit the gym at 6:30 on Thursday night to host a game against Greendale.

All home games are played at Shorewood High School, 1701 E. Capitol Dr.
