Shorewood Walgreens Obtains License to Sell Beer

Your local will soon stock beer and wine coolers after receiving village approval via a liquor license.

The Village Board approved the Class A beer only license for the retail store at 4081 N. Oakland Ave. Tuesday night. The store plans to offer beer in its cold cases and on shelves.

Upon its move, across East Kenmore Place, into the , Walgreens will be required to go in front of the board again and have the license approved.
