Steins Outdoor Garden Center Now Open

Looking to pick up a few things as you return to your garden this spring?

Stein Gardens & Gifts opened its outdoor seasonal garden center on Saturday at the former Riverbrook Restaurant site, 1111 E. Capitol Dr. 

The "Just Plants" center offers annuals, perennials, vegetable plants, as well as select garden soils, fertilizer in a small greenhouse. 

It is open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The center will remain open through June. 

The Shorewood center is one of five that opened Saturday in the Milwaukee area.
