Taco Bandito Opens in Walkers Point
The counter service Mexican restaurant will stay open late
Taco Bandito, a counter-service Mexican restaurant, has opened at 605 S. 1st St., in the Mobil plaza.
It occupies the space left by Cafe India, which has moved to a larger storefront in the plaza.
According to The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Taco Bandito’s tacos include breaded fish with cabbage, and chorizo and egg. They also serve burritos, quesadillas, and nachos that can include a steak topping.
The restaurant has some tables and a counter for customers who want to dine in.

Taco Bandito’s hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. However, in a few weeks, the restaurant will stay open until after bar time on the weekends.
