Three in Custody for Attempted Vehicle Entry in Shorewood
Police arrived on scene after receiving a citizen complaint
SHOREWOOD - Shorewood Police were send to the 4400 N. Prospect Ave. around 7:30 a.m. Monday morning after an entry to vehicle complaint after a suspect was observed getting into a vehicle waiting in the area.
Shortly after witnesses observed the suspect entering the vehicle, police observed the suspected get-away vehicle leaving the area. Officers took two adults and one juvenile into custody for the theft without incident.
All suspects were referred for criminal charges, though no charges have been brought as of press time. The investigation is still ongoing.
