Village Bombarded with Absentee Ballot Requests
More than 5,000 voters have made the request for an absentee ballot.
With less than a month until the November 2020 Fall election on November 3, thousand of people have requested to cast their votes through the mail.
Two weeks ago the Village sent out more than 5,500 absentee ballots that had been requested from community members. More requests are pouring in.
If you have yet to apply for an absentee ballot and don't want to vote in person on November 3, below is some general information to help get you started.

â–ª You may request an absentee ballot by mail via myvote.wi.gov or in writing to elections@villageofshorewood.org.
â–ª Please include your name, address, birthdate and photo ID.

â–ª The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is Thursday, October 29, 2020.
â–ª Absentee ballots must be received by the Clerk & Customer Service Department no later than 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
â–ª Absentee ballots may be returned via USPS or in the drive-up, white dropbox located in the parking lot behind Village Hall/Library.
