WEATHER ALERT: Strong Storms Predicted In Time for Evening Commute

The National Weather Service says a line of thunderstorms could affect residents east of Madison as early as 4 p.m. today.

MILWAUKEE- The National Weather Service out of Sullivan, Wis. has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the Milwaukee area after 4 p.m. Today.

It is as follows:

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of east central Wisconsin...South central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin.

There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and early evening as a line of thunderstorms is expected to move east southeast across southern Wisconsin. Damaging wind and large hail is the primary threat...Although isolated tornadoes are possible.

Timing of the main threat begins around 2-3 pm west and north of Madison and after 4 pm to the east of Madison.
