What Should Go Here? Fill the Armory Building Vacancy
This empty retail location is at the village's busiest corner, Oakland and Capitol. What kind of business should go here?

While development booms on Oakland Avenue north of Capitol, a prime location at the intersection of the village's two main roads has been vacant for a time.
It's known as the Armory Building, according to Karen de Hartog of the Shorewood Historical Society, because a National Guard Armory once sat on that spot. Built around the 1930s or 1940s, she said, the building has been a drug store, a restaurant, a sandwich shop and Actea Works, among others.
What do you think belongs here? Have some vision for this vacancy at an extremely visible intersection, and share your thoughts in the comments section.
