Woman Robbed At Gunpoint In Shorewood Alleyway: Police

Four juveniles have been taken into custody. The woman was robbed at gunpoint Sunday in an alleyway near Wilson Drive, police said.

SHOREWOOD, WI — A Shorewood resident was robbed at gunpoint in an alleyway on the 4200 block of Wilson Drive Sunday afternoon, according to the Shorewood Police Department.

A car drove up to the victim — a 43-year-old female Shorewood resident — then the front passenger got out and demanded the victim's cell phone at gunpoint, police said. The woman handed over the cell phone and the vehicle fled the area.

Glendale police later located the vehicle in the 5600 block of Milwaukee River Parkway. Shorewood and Glendale police said they were able to arrest the four juvenile suspects without further incident. Police said they found the victim's cell phone and a handgun in the vehicle.

The juveniles were sent to the Milwaukee Juvenile Detention Facility. The Milwaukee County District Attorney will pursue charges.
