Workshop to Discuss Pit Bull Dog Advocacy

A national animal welfare group will hold a Shorewood workshop this weekend on advocacy for pit bull dogs.

The Animal Farm Foundation will offer the free workshop on helping pit bull dogs with a discussion about adoption, advocacy and outreach. The event takes place at the Village Center, 3920 N. Murray Ave., on Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
