Would You Make A Good Village Trustee?
Shorewood is looking for residents interested in serving on the Village Board, after Trustee Don Ford's resignation created a vacancy.

The Village of Shorewood is soliciting applications for a new trustee.
Trustees have outlined a plan to conduct interviews and hold a vote to select a new board member on July 24. Candidate interviews will start at 5:15 p.m. A back-up date is scheduled for July 22.Â
The vacancy was created when Don Ford gave up his seat after moving outside of the village.

Officials are asking that interested parties send an application and résumé to Guy Johnson, Village President, c/o Village Manager's Office, 3930 N. Murray Avenue, Shorewood WI 53211. Â
Applications are available on the village's website or at Village Hall, 3930 N. Murray Ave. The application deadline is July 10.

Ford had roughly one year left on his term when he stepped down, so the term ends April 2014.
