10th Annual Spring Into Green Races Set For June 15

From the City of Cheyenne: The Cheyenne Greenway Foundation (CGF) is hosting the 10th Annual Spring into Green10K, 5K, & Fun Run at Mylar Park (5205 Seminoe Rd.) on Saturday, June 15. Mylar Park is located north of Dell Range Blvd.

This Greenway Celebration will begin at the shelter in Mylar Park and head southeast to designated turnaround spots. After the event, participants will take part in a “splash party” and be treated to breakfast.

All profits from this and other CGF events are used to place amenities on the Greater Cheyenne Greenway.

Registration at www.cheyennegreenwayfoundation.org includes a tech shirt. Price for the adult 5k is $30 and the adult 10k is $35 per entry. For youth, ages 6-17, the cost is $20 per entry. You may also register at the event, starting at 6:30 am, with a $5 additional charge in place. The races will begin at 8:00 am.

Medals will be awarded for:

Adults Male & Female: 1st & 2nd place for 5k & 10k

(60+) Male & Female: 1st & 2nd place for 5k & 10k

(6-17) Male & Female: 1st & 2nd place for 5k & 10k
