Cheyenne Historic Preservation Board To Update Strategic Plan

CHEYENNE – The Cheyenne Historic Preservation Board will meet to update its working strategic plan on Saturday, February 1st from 9 am to 1 pm. The meeting will be at the Old West Museum conference room, 4610 Carey Avenue.

The strategic plan is a working document to help the Board keep track of the projects they work on and how they relate to the major goals and objectives of the Board. A few of their major accomplishments have been updating and expanding the existing Capitol North Historic District, updating and expanding the Downtown Historic District, stabilization of the Warren Rest House in Holiday Park, updating their rules of practice, and continued fundraising for the Historic Airport Fountain which started restoration in the fall of 2019. They continue to partner with the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) for the Façade Improvement Program.

This meeting is open to the public.
