LCCC had six students enrolled in the daytime program and four in the evening class.
All students successfully completed the 165-hour course, which LCCC started offering
in March.

The commercial drivers’ license program was developed in partnership with Eastern
Wyoming College in Torrington and Northwest College in Powell to address the growing
need for CDL drivers in Wyoming’s workforce. The program includes preparation for
the permit test, introductory exercises on a simulator and a minimum of 32 hours behind-the-wheel
driving. Additional endorsements, such as hazardous materials and tankers, are also
available. Partnerships with Admiral Beverage and the Wyoming Highway Patrol make
the program possible.
