CHEYENNE, WY - Interim Athletic Director Dr. Cynthia Henning announced that Madison
Marquer has been named the Head Esports Coach at Laramie County Community College.

Marquer will be tasked with guiding the first-year program as LCCC will be competing
in its first season in the NJCAAE in the fall of 2021. Including recruiting team members
and awarding scholarships to the first Esports team at the college.
"We are really excited to have Madison on board as we launch our Esports team," said
Henning. "He has a solid background in gaming and combining that with his vision for
the program, we have found the right person to lead our program".

Marquer just received a Master of Arts degree in Geography from the University of
Wyoming where he also completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in both Social Studies
Education and Geography.
"I am honored and elated to be the new Head Esports Coach at LCCC," said Marquer.
"Esports is a worldwide future of athletics, and the future is now at Laramie County
Community College. The digital realm is a fresh new frontier for the Golden Eagles
to spread their wings and as always, we will soar!"
Golden Eagles' Esports team will compete with NJCAA schools from around the country
as the sport continues to grow.
LCCC will be one of four teams in NJCAA Region IX to field an Esports team.
